The caves are located far from any road, you can only get there by swimming. The best time of the year to visit is around September to February, when the ice melts and the water surface takes on a charming color. In order to catch the right lighting for great shots, it is advisable to go for an inspection in the early sunny morning. But this is difficult to guarantee in a region where the climate changes without warning.

Getting to this magnificent natural wonder is not easy. The closest city to the attraction is Puerto Rio Tranquilo. Most of the households here serve tourists. There are several hostels, apartments and cottages, comfortable campsites. But there are no ATMs in the town, you need to stock up on cash in Coyaiq or Cochrane.

Marble Caves

They are the first to be seen on the northern shore about fifteen minutes from the pier. They impress with blue reflections on the surface, but the view from the shore is even better.

Marble Chapel

It is located on the south side and looks amazing.

Wedding ceremonies can be held in the chapel. But only the newlyweds and the priest will be in the room itself. And the rest of the guests are watching the process, sitting on the boat.

Marble Cathedral

A giant boulder appears on the horizon, rising in the shape of a dome on column legs. Under it, you can sail on a boat through a labyrinth of tunnels.

High on the rocks you can see the nests of condors, and if you're lucky, you can spot one of these huge birds.
