Few facts about the city

Montezuma, Costa Rica - Previously, a fishing village was located here, and daily carts with oxen harnessed to them lined up in a small port - the area supplied fresh vegetables and fruits to Puntarenas, the capital of the province of the same name. How to get to Montezuma?

Not far from Montezuma is the airport of local airlines (or rather, the runway and a tiny structure) Tambor, where you can fly from Liberia or San Jose. This option will be the fastest. From Tambor to Montezuma, it will take about 20 minutes by car to go via Calle Pura Vida. From Jaco you can sail to Montezuma in a rented boat, but this option is only suitable if you don't have too many things.
