In Kokomo, Indiana, there is a covered shopping center called Markland Mall. Target, Dunham's Sports, Books-A-Million, Carter's, PetSmart, Party City, Ross Dress for Less, ALDI, and Gravity Trampoline Park are the mall's anchor retailers. It was first opened in 1968. Carson's relocated to a new location in 2020, which was then filled by Dunham's Sports. Through Washington Prime Group, it is administered.

Markland Mall's construction was first announced in 1967 by Melvin Simon & Associates. Sears, Danners 5 & 10, a Kroger grocery, a SupreRx pharmacy, and an Ayr-Way bargain store were some of the building's original tenants.
