The location is perfect for hikers who use the loop trail to reach Whiteside Mountain and reach the 4,930-foot summit. At the top looms northern red oaks that shape a forest, their trunks contracted by ice storms and high winds.

For the summer and spring season the attraction or has a peregrine falcon that flies over the rocky mountainous environment. The falcon resides in this high mountain, thanks to some biologists who moved it because it is part of an endangered species.
