Calm waters courtesy of shore reefs attract body surfers, and sunrises over the water attract early risers. This beach is one of the six in Puerto Rico that have received the Blue Flag certification from the Foundation for Environmental Education for meeting strict standards of water quality, safety, environmental education, and information.
