Carmel-by-the-Sea, California (with Map & Photos)

We return to the quintessential surfing and beach state that is home to most of the best beaches in the United States: California. In Monterrey County we find this small coastal city of barely 4,000 inhabitants that may sound familiar to you because of the notoriety of the name of its Republican mayor, Clint Eastwood.

The town is very beautiful to see and there is a very good atmosphere in it. The beach, lined with huge cypress trees, is 2 kilometers long and has white sand. It should be noted that it is a beach suitable for animals, so it is normal to find furry pets running around and playing with their owners. As a negative point, we must say that the space provided for car parking that is close to the beach is not very large and fills up quickly, but this is corrected by taking a few turns through the streets adjacent to the beach. It is not necessary to go very far, in the residential area of little houses you will surely find a hole.

It is essential to take the route  between the towns of Carmen and Monterrey: Pebble Beach. In this beautiful area you will go along a coastal road between golf courses admiring the spectacular landscape. A true marvel.
