Triglav National Park was first covered in 1924 and officially renamed in 1961 from its current area of ​​838 km2, Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia and one of the oldest parks in Europe.

The park is named after its highest peak - Triglav (2,864m) and covers 4% of the total area of ​​Slovenia, including the eastern Julian Alps. The exceptional beauty and untouched nature attracts many visitors every year who want to see and experience the depth of nature. Lake Bohinjoffers only one attraction in the park. Other, also beautiful lakes, are found throughout the park, along with slops, rivers, streams, gorges and mountains.
