Muju Deogyusan Ski Resort Guide (with Map & Photos)

This ski resort is located inside the Mount Deogyusan National Park, in the Muju-gun district of Jeollabuk-do province. It is visited not only by domestic skiers, but also by ski fans from all over the world. The entire area of ​​the station is located in the mountainous relief, which is why it presents a splendid combination with Nature. The “Silkroad” track, which starts from the top of Mt. Deogyusan, 1,520m above sea level, offers a wonderful feeling, like going down through the clouds. The Silkroad track is the longest in the country at 6.1 km long and is ideal for beginners and intermediates.

Muju is the largest ski resort in South Korea and, perhaps, the entire Korean Peninsula, located in a national park in the Togyusan Mountains in the northeastern part of the North Jeolla province. The resort is famous for its Silk Road, which is 6 km long. In addition to it, the resort has 18 more slopes of varying difficulty, a toboggan run, 13 ski lifts, hotels, restaurants, an amusement park, a water park, a golf club, a ski school taught by instructors from the Austrian Academy Austria Snow Sports Academy.
