Seven Sisters Cliffs, Eastbourne, UK (with Map & Photos)

If you spend a few days in Brighton or its surroundings, you cannot miss visiting the Seven Sisters Cliffs. They are a series of cliffs located between the towns of Eastbourne and Seaside in the south of England. They are made of chalk, an almost chalky limestone (in fact the chalk is extracted from it) that gives them that bright white color and makes them more than 100 meters high in some places.

You can imagine that the views from the top are spectacular, long green meadows on one side and the English Channel on the other, nature in its purest form just a few kilometers from cities like Brighton or even London.

They say that the Seven Sisters are the little sisters of the famous White Cliffs of Dover and it is true that they share many similarities, their height, the vertical cuts in white and that contrast with the green of the fields and the blue of the sea.

How to get from Brighton to Seven Sisters?

The simplest, by bus from Brighton. It's cheap, it's easy, and it only takes an hour to get there.

You can catch the Coaster line bus 12, 12A or 12X at Churchill Square every 10 minutes and get off at the stop marked Seven Sisters Cliffs, next to the visitor centre. The route is also quite picturesque, along the Sussex county coast road, through its fields and towns. Of course, the 12X is the one with the fewest stops, if you take one of the others be prepared to make all the stops in the universe. At least it entertains us with free Wi-Fi on board.

Of course you can also get there by car. Right next to the visitor center there is a fairly large car park which costs between £3 and £6 a day.
