Located in East Java and also known as Coban Sewu, it is possibly the most impressive in all of Indonesia.

Its name Tumpak Sewu, can be translated from the Javanese language into English as “thousand waterfalls”, exactly as it looks, with countless small streams that fall down the wall into a cylindrical sink.

At 120 meters high, it is on the list of the highest waterfalls in the entire country. The first stop is at a panoramic viewpoint where in the background you can see the Semeru volcano, the most active in the entire region.

In order to visit the waterfall, it will be necessary to descend some bamboo stairs and pass through small streams, which can be achieved in an approximate period of 30 to 40 minutes.
