Artists' studios are located around the Salt Spring Island; farms selling cheese and homemade products; funky shops, some of which sell clothes and knickknacks that can be found in Southeast Asia; and many beautiful landscapes. The main town on the Salt Spring Island is the Ganges, where visitors will find ice cream shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as more traditional shopping malls and souvenirs.
