Tourism Nearly a million people visit Badlands National Park each year to immerse themselves in the rugged beauty of a diverse range of landscapes, but also to hike, hike, bike and climb. The park is open all year round, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, although its main visitor center, the Bein Reifel Visitor Center, is closed on certain holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving.
