Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall is one of the most striking natural landmarks in central Mongolia. Located in Bat-Ölzii District of Övörkhangai Province, the waterfall drops through a rugged volcanic landscape near the Orkhon River.

The waterfall is about 24 meters high and 10 meters wide. Its gorge was shaped by the Orkhon River flowing through layers of volcanic rock, creating a dramatic contrast between dark basalt cliffs, green valleys, and the surrounding Mongolian steppe.
