Helfštýn Castle is one of the largest and most impressive medieval castles in the Czech Republic, nestled above the Moravian Gate near the town of Lipník nad Bečvou. Originally founded in the 14th century, the castle was a key stronghold in the Hussite Wars and later a center of Renaissance architecture and noble life.
