Virginia Key Beach is one of the most interesting beaches in South Florida. It is located off the Rickenbacker Causeway, near the Miami Aquarium. Its good location causes it to be one of the most frequented coastal areas both by tourists and by the inhabitants of Miami, however this does not take away from its particular charm.

Travelers looking for quieter beaches will find places to hide a bit from the crowds if they walk a bit. Dogs are allowed in the south area (on a leash). In the north it is a place where windsurfing is usually practiced. On this beach you can also find any type of service.
