One of the most famous resorts among naturists, Cap d'Agde is located on the Mediterranean coast in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. This is a real Mecca for those who like to walk around without clothes: on the nudist part of the resort (there is also a “textile” part here), you can not wear a single centimeter of annoying rags at all throughout the rest. Know yourself walking around in what your mother gave birth to: to restaurants, to the bank, to the post office, and even to the police station. Well, if you have not yet decided whether you need clothes or are better without them, welcome to the “covered” area of the resort, from where you can visit naturists at the behest of the soul. By the way, the surroundings of Agde have several interesting sights, including the picturesque Bresco Fort and the 240-kilometer Canal du Midi, laid already in the 17th century, so fans of the “excursion” will not get bored here.

How to get to Cap d'Agde
The main railway station of the region is located in the town of Agde (recall: Cap d'Agde literally means "Cape Agde" and is actually a small resort town near Agde). High-speed TGV trains from Paris and Lille regularly arrive here; from other cities in France, you can arrive in Cap d'Agde by rail only with a transfer.
Trains from Paris to Agde depart from Gare de Lyon. Travel time is about 4 hours, and the fare will cost 90 EUR.
Agde is also connected to Paris and the neighboring cities of Languedoc-Roussillon by bus. The routes often pass along the seashore and are extremely picturesque.
Agde also has its own airport, located 15 km from the city. Aircraft from the capital's Paris-Beauvais airport land here, as well as seasonal charters. You can get from the airport to the city center by shuttle bus. Well, a larger regional airport with a large passenger flow is located in Montpellier (70 km from Cap d'Agde).

The beaches of Cap d'Agde
Cap d'Agde offers tourists 14 km of beautiful beaches with fine golden sand. The decrease in depth is smooth, and sea waves are almost completely absent. Of the 14 km, about two are given to nudists. The beach infrastructure is excellently developed both in the first and in the second part - beach volleyball, petanque and badminton, water skiing, bananas, and other water sports options. Diving and parachuting are available only on the "Puritan" part.

Running without panties is the main attraction in Cap d'Agde. However, speaking seriously, there are a lot of non-nudist pastime options in the vicinity, for example, visiting sights that are unexpectedly interesting for such a wild place.
In Agde, which is 26 centuries old, it is worth taking a walk through the colorful city center, its ancient narrow streets, cobbled with cobblestones, and cozy squares. The dark color of stone buildings is due to a specific building material - volcanic rock from the slopes of the Agde volcano. Among the architectural masterpieces is the 12th-century Saint-Etienne Cathedral, reminiscent of a powerful medieval fortress with its massiveness. The Agatua Museum, which occupies a 17th-century mansion building, contains all sorts of things that tell about the history and traditions of the region - from original furniture and costumes of the 17th and 18th centuries to stuffed birds and an absolutely amazing collection of night vases. And the Ephebe Museum is dedicated to the ancient era - here you can see a collection of underwater finds, Greek amphorae and coins, and a significant collection of bronze items.
Also in Cap d'Agde, it is worth visiting the Aquarium, where the inhabitants of the Mediterranean and tropical seas are represented.
Brescu Fort, built in 1586, is located 2 km from the coastline of the resort on a volcanic island. You can get here during an organized excursion from the port of Cap d'Agde.
