The Kita-Nagato Kaigan Quasi-National Park is one of over 50 quasi-national parks in Japan. Established on November 1, 1955, Yamaguchi Prefecture is responsible for the administration of the park. With IUCN Category V, the park area is classified as a Protected Landscape/Protected Marine Area.
