Volcanic eruptions gave life to the island 12 million years ago, the blond Guanches tribe called it the “snow mountain”, and the two-faced nature (wet blooming north and sun-kissed south) gained fame in ancient Greek myths - the resort is famous as the garden of the Hesperides inhabited by nymphs. Here you will see everything that remains of the legendary Atlantis: the Martian landscape of the black desert at the foot of the highest point in Spain - the Teide volcano, blocks of solidified lava hanging over the ocean, tropical forests and banana valleys.

Being the most populated and lively island in Spain ( 904,713 people), Tenerife has been welcoming millions of travelers for two decades now. The mild climate does not require getting used to, and the speech of expressive residents is a translation, their gestures are so understandable.
