Koh Phi Phi is the collective name for a small archipelago in the Krabi province just an hour by boat from Phuket. Only Phi Phi Don is inhabited; all the others are undeveloped and protected as a National Park and are frequently visited with day trips from Phuket, Krabi and Phi Phi Don. Phi Phi Ley was featured in the hit Hollywood movie The Beach where Maya Bay was a good choice, as it epitomizes the awe-inspiring beauty of these islands: a bay of aquamarine waters surrounded by high limestone cliffs that are home to a sandy beach White.

The island also has a vibrant nightlife, Tonsai Beach, a maze of shops, bars and restaurants. The smaller beaches around the island are alternatively ideal for honeymooners, families and those on a high budget looking for the ultimate in luxury resorts.
