In the Zelenci Nature Reserve, you will meet a large number of different species of animals and plants that live here peacefully and will only make your experience more charming and interesting. Many of them live in the vicinity of the famous green lake, which is the reason for the name of the reserve. The lake is only two meters deep and, interestingly, never freezes in winter. Events in Kranjska Gora
Another interesting destination, located in the immediate vicinity of the Zelenci Nature Reserve, is the town of Kranjska Gora - a popular destination both in the warmer and colder parts of the year. During the winter season, this place turns into a ski resort with various ski slopes and magnificent views of the white Slovenian and Austrian mountains.
